Values

“A moment that fundamentally shaped me into who I am today was when my mother once referred to a day when soldiers with a harsh accent knocked at their door. My pregnant grandma opened, holding my mother’s little hand, and said: “You can search the house, they are not here: they are at the front taking care of the wounded, including your own soldiers”. That day, I understood that we were given an elevated power, for caring for all beings, regardless of the threat, without discrimination, and that this power won wars, and can defeat dictatorships, lies, and divisiveness.”
